Benefits of IV Sedation Dentistry

Full range of sedation dentistry services and blood draws (as needed) for select patients.

Sedation for dentistry is the use of medications to provide relaxation and comfort during dental procedures.

While you sleep, your dentist can complete all dental treatment in a safe, pain-free environment.

Personal care

Our providers take the time necessary to carefully review the patient's medical history along with their dental treatment to determine an individualized anesthetic plan.  Our Anesthesiologists will personally contact each patient/guardian to review pre-operative instructions and address any questions and/or concerns.  During the appointment, your anesthesiologist will stay with you/your family member through the entire procedure.  We will also follow up after the procedure with a personalized phone call from your Anesthesiologist.

Convenient

Sedation in the dental office is easy and naturally reduced anxiety.  Appointments are readily available compared to surgical centers and hospitals.  It also allows for more treatment to be completed in a single appointment, avoiding multiple trips to the dentist. In addition, by providing services in your dental office, the patient is already familiar with the setting making the patient more comfortable.

Pain-free

Our Anesthesiologists focus on providing a comfortable pain-free dental experience. With Sedation Dentistry, all your dental needs can be addressed with a restful nap in the dental chair.

Insurance

Advanced Dental Anesthesia is a participating provider in some Pennsylvania facilities for pediatrics and special needs patients.  In New York and New Jersey though, we are out-of-network providers and therefore the fee must be paid out-of-pocket.  However, our full-service staff will provide a completed medical claim form approximately 1-week after the appointment, which you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement.

For pediatric patients, authorization can help with the reimbursement process. If you have any questions regarding the process please contact our office for more information.
