Dr. Austin Boehm

Dr. Austin Boehm is a Dentist Anesthesiologist at Advanced Dental Anesthesia Services of New York.
He graduated summa cum laude from the University of New England with a degree in medical sciences.
He earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. He then attended a General Practice Residency at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, NJ where he rotated in Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, and Anesthesia.
After developing a strong interest in anesthesiology during his GPR, Dr. Boehm completed his postdoctoral residency at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. His training included the completion of more than 1900 anesthetic cases for various surgeries in a myriad of medical specialties. The dental component of his program was specifically tailored to providing deep sedation and general anesthesia for outpatient dental procedures.
Additionally, he has extensive training in adult, pediatric, and special needs care. Dr. Boehm holds certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and is a member of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology.

Dr. Boehm has an eclectic set of interests and hobbies. He enjoys following advancements in science and technology, especially biomedical disciplines, and hopes science fiction continues to become reality.
He trained in several martial arts forms for more than 20 years and continues to practice on his own.
Fitness and health, in general, are very important to him and he is a very strict eater, but will almost always say yes to a good pho or ramen restaurant. When Dr. Boehm isn’t reading, biking, cooking, or streaming his favorite shows, you can probably find him jumping out of perfectly good airplanes because he is an avid sport skydiver.
